Two new publications with contributions from CASE-Kyrgyzstan have been recently launched. The book "EU Eastern Neigbourhood. Economic Potential and Future Development" edited by M.Dabrowski and M.Maliszewska has been published by Springer. It contains a chapter on technical assistance to CIS countries written by our staff members R.Mogilevsky and A.Atamanov. Also, the study "The Impact of the Global Financial Crisis on Public Expenditures on Education and Health in the Economies of the Former Soviet Union" co-authored by A.Chubrik, M.Dabrowski, R.Mogilevsky and I.Sinitsina has been published in CASE Network Reports series. |

Analytical report “Public Expenditures on Education and Health in the Kyrgyz Republic before and during the Global Financial Crisis” prepared in the framework of the of the project “The Impact of the Global Financial Crisis on Public Service Delivery in Economies of the Former Soviet Union,” which is supported by the Local Government and Public Service Reform Initiative of the Open Society Institute. Apart from this paper, similar reports have been prepared for Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine. Another output of this project is a regional overview of public expenditures on education and health in these countries during the crisis.

Analytical report "Macroeconomic Strategies of MDG Achievement in the Kyrgyz Republic" prepared in the framework of the of the project "Assessing Development Strategies to Achieve the MDGs in Asia" implemented in the Kyrgyz Republic with methodological and financial support from the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN-DESA) and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
